What?
Infusion therapy is a team process involving the physician, pharmacist and nurse working together to support and care for the patient. Anti-Infectives for severe infection, Pain Management for treatment of cancer, disease or trauma pain, Nutritional Support by intra-venous or gastric feeding methods and many other therapies for a wide range of conditions. Multiple Sclerosis, Congestive Heart Failure, Chrons, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Neurological Diseases, Diabetes, Post Surgical Care and many other conditions are treated by the Altius Healthcare infusion team. o Where Altius Healthcare services patients in the home, assisted living home, physician's office, ambulatory infusion centers or other alternate sites. Altius Healthcare provides services throughout the desert southwest. Primary service areas are in Arizona without reach to Nevada, Southern California and New Mexico. Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An Altius Healthcare professional is always available to provide service and care to our Patients.

Just Call 800-531-2469. The physicians order is thoroughly reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness of treatment plan by the Altius Healthcare pharmacist and nurse. The therapy is fully discussed with the patient, family and home caregivers. The Altius pharmacist will discuss the medication profile including the therapies intended use, drug storage, administration procedures and possible drug side effects. The Altius nurse will work with the patient and caregivers to ensure proper administration is accomplished. Training and education is provided by the nurse to be sure the therapy is safe of self-administration. Altius Healthcare reimbursement and financial specialists work to secure the ultimate financial security for the patient.
