It is the mission of Altius Healthcare, Infusion Therapy and Specialty Pharmacy to provide the highest level of professional infusion pharmacy services to our patients. We use highly specialized pharmacists and nurses, along with proven technology and systems to maximize patients' healthcare dollars. Our professional administration and financial staff support our clinical efforts. Together, we deliver cost-effective, compassionate care to all. We endeavor to treat our associates, our health care partners, our patients and their caregivers with respect and empathy at all times.
History
Since 1990 Altius Healthcare has provided an ever-growing array of infusion therapies and other healthcare services beyond hospital walls in: patient’s homes, extended care facilities, medical clinics, doctors’ offices and infusion centers, and even when patients are traveling. Altius Healthcare has helped define the new alternate site industry and has introduced many cost-reducing methods of practice.
In 1990 the Central Office was opened in Prescott and serviced Northern and Central Arizona. In 2002 the Tucson office joined Altius Healthcare to extend services to the patients of southern Arizona. In 2008 the Yuma office opened which then provided three conveniently located pharmacies and infusion offices. Our presence in the rural health care markets has brought value to local medical communities with the ability to service local physicians and hospitals with the same level of service as would be expected in metropolitan centers.
Our company remains locally owned and managed by its founders. The spirit of independent community based service and ownership drives us to deliver high quality infusion pharmacy and nursing services through an accredited system of protocols and procedures that meet or exceed industry standards. |
